and honestly, her stance made me think...
because I never really cared or thought too much about being labeled "african american" until she said that
and I cant say that I don't or do agree with her...

on one had I kinda agree and on the other I don't know if i agree
I was born here, I wasn't born in Africa, so why am i labeled african american? yeah..my ancestors are from Africa
but I'm not...I'm just american...a black amercian

actual damn ly...
I don't know where I fit sometimes...

because I'm bi-racial, but it feels like I'm required by society to identify as one thing, when I'm not.
sometimes when I have to fill forms and things out, I have to choose what ethnicity I want to be labeled as
I would like to choose bi-racial, but that's not really an option and I cant fill in 2

#biracialproblems.....

Like a job application?

Mel.

it is a problem...

and many biracial people have that problem
I just feel like me having to pick what I want to represent is denouncing another part or me
and I don't think I should have to

Imma be honest tho... when I fill out applications I don't check the African American box. I check the "Other" one fjfjjfjfj
