fffffff

I really wanna take this ancestry mess not but IDK. I'm a little scared

  :diddraispoot:

Me too. I feel like I'm going to be in for a surprise lolz.

Wouldn't your test be easily predictable, as in you pretty much know what you'll get, though?

That is why I don't know if I should be bothered, when I already know.

Well shit, I feel stupid now. Why do they have a Hispanic box then.

What do you mean?

On applications. There's always a "Hispanic/Latin" check box just like there's on for black, white and Asian.

if I'm not mistaken
for the census, the real CORE, they don't have Hispanic/Latin as a RACE
most spanish people have to put:

RACE: White
and then check: non-hispanic or hispanic

i think?

No :plzstop:

Ralf, you're a kii

this was the 2010 census. U.S.

dddd

Ralf...

this is typically what they look like:

BAPHOMET.

I already know my test mess is going to just confirm what I already know. That my dad's line of cubans are mostly from Africa :plzstop:

So wait Afro..
When someone takes a DNA mess
It can't read Latina????
It will only read as European?
exactly.

You have to know what you're looking at
And how it relates to you.

and honestly I've found traditional research to be more effective than the DNA test.
I found out more about my family just by searching their names
Than I did a DNA test

These things are more so fun and interesting.
I wouldn't encourage anyone to take them as the be all and say all.

Young

Ancestry DNA is amazing tho

I've been messaged by so many 4th gen and 3rd gen cousins that shared some of the same DNA I had.
It was crazy.
And they were mixtures of everything

Black
White
Asian

Rxxf

the job applications don't really break it down
which further causes confusion and why i believe most spanish individuals think they may have their own race

Why is the US so obsessed with race

NO.

Most Latinos have a very strong West African and also Native American percentage in their heritage.

Latina will show in a big chunk of Spanish/Portuguese, West African and Native American mixture.
but how do they break it down on the test tho?
Let's say Christina Milian takes the test. It will probably look something like this.

43 % Subsaharan African
--> 21% Nigerian/Benin
--> 10% Ivorian
--> 12% Ghanaian/Cameroonian

35% European
--> 25% Spanish
--> 10% Portuguese

23% Native/Indigenous

The point is most Latinos are just a blend of West African (subcategory of black), native (subcategory of Asian) and Iberian (subcategory of white)
oh wow  :ohwow:

furthermore, adrienne was shocked that she was WHITE because she herself (due to those job applications) thought she was her own race
:dead:

If she knew the true tea... her being "white" as her race, wouldn't have been so shocking to her.

It is not that simple. Melanesians, South Indians, and some other groups are hard to classify within those three boxes.
