#PageSix reports that #TraiByers from the hit show #Empire is ready to call it quits. An exclusive source told Page Six, "He feels that he studied at Yale and he's a 'true thespian'...The character is beneath him. He has an idea of himself as being this big Shakespearean actor.". Sources also said that at first he was excited about his role as #AndreLyon, but now he feels that he's ready for something more. He's even reported to have had a few tantrums off camera saying, 'I don't get to do enough, I might leave'. Byers is engaged to his co-star #GraceGealey who plays #AnikaCalhoun. The show is in its last week of filming and Byers is still on board. Let's see if he'll be around next season. #empirefox

He really is miles ahead of most of the cast. His acting is so good that he should be getting award nominations but his amount of screen time doesn't warrant any.

Jussie has been made the centerpiece of the show and even he's pissed about the direction of the show.

But it's only Season 2. Trai should stay on board. There is still a chance things get better.

Did he really?  My classmate from highschool wrote on the first season,  we  were all very happy for him.  I wonder if he's still there

Got success and it went to his head. The fall off writing wise rom Season 1 to 2 is astounding. It's become very Tyler Perry-esque. Hopefully he's realized his mistakes and the 2nd half of the season is better.
