Idk, I feel like MJ and Whitney were honored before their passing. Whitney was tributed at the Soul Train Awards years ago and the very first BET Awards. Also, Michael had a nice tribute for his 30th anniversary.

Yea, i don't agree either.  Mike was tributed DEFINITELY and Whit had some as well. These are people that were in their 40s when they died. i don't think artist should really get legend tributes until they are a lil older.........or dead

Yall talking about someone getting a whole show dedicated to them,  LOTS of people don't get that.  U have to be someone people really just all the way around consider a legend. ..........and older usually.  I would like for the BET tributing one artist show to come back.
