RIHANNA is facing a lawsuit over allegations she failed to settle the bill for her grandmother's funeral last year.

The pop star reportedly spent more than ?100,000 on a lavish wake for Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite in Barbados following her death in June 2012.

But bosses of the funeral company behind the event claim the bill has been left unpaid, website TMZ claim.

In a lawsuit filed against the singer, it is reportedly alleged she has has only settled around a quarter of the final total, and has refused to hand over the rest of the money.

The website also claims Rihanna refused to pay because she believed she had been overcharged.

The singer isn't short of a few bob and last week won a ?3million legal battle with Topshop after the high street store sold T-shirts with her image on.

She won the legal battle claiming the clothing giant tried to pass-off the tops as being approved by her.

Her lawyers told the High Court in London the fashion chain duped fans and may have damaged the 25-year-old's reputation.

Right! She made sure she was taken care of and the bill was her responsibility.  She didn't say dolly wasn't gonna get buried because her life insurance didn't cover it
