When she said she was biracial....she was clearly correcting Bow Wow for using the term "Black" when he described her. But once she got a hint of a side eye,  she went back to saying "I'm black, I'm black, I'm Black".... which totally defeated the purpose of her correcting him to begin with.

Originally I thought the whole clip was a kii, but looking back on it, it's like, is she wrong for acknowledging that she's biracial? I almost feel as if she felt obligated to HOP back into a label that she just had corrected. It's like saying ....

Reporter: How do you feel about being Baptist?

Person: I'm non-denominational.  :)

Reporter: ok.... :udontlookok:

Person: But I'm still Baptist at heart! I was raised Baptist! :diddraispoot: Don't get it twisted now!  :butwait!:

If that's who you are, stand firm in your truth...

I think the issue is that black people have made it hard and almost laughable for people who are "ACTUALLY" biracial to identify themselves as such.  :dead: Since everyone claims to be "mixed".

For Keysha's particular situation, I think people were just like girl SIT. You just found out who your ddy was yesterday. :uhh:

Keyshia is probably more genetically half than both Rashida and Maya.
Rashida & Maya are more like 1/4 black.

Not all biracial people have light colored eyes and loose hair though.
You used Rashida as an example, but Quincy took a DNA test and came back with 34% European mixture, almost equivalent to having a white parent. Although he looks Black.

So his African ancestry was already quite diluted before he even put his semen inside of her mother. Which makes sense of why she may be so light, bright and blue eyed.

But there are many black men and women with strong African genes that will produce a child that, that although half white, may simply look like a light skinned Black person, like Keyshia.

Obama didn't come out looking like Leonardo Dicaprio.
He came with a negro nose, kinky hair, and cakes sent from God himself. :stressed:

Genetics don't just change just because society wants it too.
Maya Rudolph is no where near 50% black and is only considered it today because the One Drop Rule changed the way we viewed race.

She's biracial by todays terms, but genetically neither Rashida or Maya are 50%
