How come when it comes to Black power house vocalists she is never mentioned ? I remember my mom played her CD out when I was younger and I ended up stealing it when I was a kid. Two of my favorite songs by her are With Open Arms and Nothing Has Ever Felt featuring Will Downing ! Give it a listen and prepared to be vocal led scalped  :gorlonfire: :gorlonfire:

I never got her hype. Basic looks. Basic songs. Her work was TOO musical if that makes sense. Like she was trying to prove to the other gorls that she was a "serious" musician mess.

Because she's not R&B, Pop, Neo soul....she kind of has a cult following cause she's not played on radio, she doesn't do videos, award shows etc.. you only hear about her word of mouth.
