Aren't Kendrick and J. Cole supposed to be speaking against homophobia?

whatever

White men have more freedom to be out and open, they don't have stigmas attached like black men. Most black men are more discreet with their homosexuality. White men come out and next thing you know they are with a group of gays on fire island lmao.

Alot of black men will be fucking men exclusively, but post a meme with a man and woman talking about #goals. It's a sight to watch. lmao

I think the black gay community, we need to come out more and be more visible and unapologetic about our sexual orientation. Not just feminine gays, who take the heat and abuse because most of us can hide behind the appearance of looking masculine. It's not even a "I just dont like people in my business" it's a don't want to be perceived as gay because gay=feminine thing.

This is my opinion.

L0NZ.

No, they arent supposed to. How do we even know they support gays? Maybe they arent advocates because they dont use, and quite honestly thats their prerogative. Doesnt make them less "real" ...  it would actually make them more real in a way f

Everybody is praising them for being so socially conscious, deep etc... But how come Macklemore was the only one with the balls to tackle gay issues, when they run rampant in the black communities. Shouldn't our street poets who are oh so great, make that a topic too?
:young:
gorl :dead:

I doubt they really care, they're not gay so they haven't experienced homophobia enough.
I'm sure if they have a gay friend that gets bashed then it'll be a topic of convo for them, as with most musicians. Which I agree with, talk about what you know, not what's crute at the moment to get accolades

I'd rather them speak out of sincerity rather than doing it just because. They're not obliged to do anything either way.
