Bent, what do u like about the song tho now that I think about it? Is it the music, the singing, or do u just like the video? a mixture of all 3? knowing  u, i dont feel like this would be your thing.
mostly the production
the song and her delivery is nothing special, it's not this amazing ground breaking song

I feel like everybody gets so hype about Beyonce singing about her life, how rich she is, her daughter, Jay... that stuff doesn't empower me :dead:
just typical over the top Beyonce
Yea and I think the video is alright but Im a music person. The song is TERRIBLE! Like yummy said, she's basically yelling lil catchphrases over a beat. BLACK PRIDE! Im not filled with pride cause this bitch is talking about a nose that she got shaved down and nigger naps that she covered with blonde weave :plzstop:
It's all so disingenuous IMO. an Insincere ass message and a calculated agenda doesnt move me :hmph:

FUCKIN PREACH!!!

GLOCK

ya'll have me screaming in here

why would anyone be afraid to sell anything hun... it  would be money in her pocket regardless of our standards of a "book"... if she was THAT scared she wouldnt have uploaded it at all... seems as if the plan from the beginning was to never sell it

AJ bby, pay them no mind. The only thing the Rihs know are singles. Because they were happy a 17K selling album was number one this week.

Gilgamesh.

I'm really not anticipating this era.

Y'all give Formation too much. It's really not that deep imo. It's more so "shock value" than empowering. :dead: That's why I can somewhat see why the gorls say she used the issue as an opportunity to out edge herself. No one would ever think BLEACHonce would make a song like that.... And I'm sure she fucking knew it. :dead:

Regardless of her intentions, I can still appreciate the song though... I just don't think it's that deep.  Especially igniting a "movement". If anything, the movement was already in formation..

i mean, police departments were issuing statements about the song. lol. its kinda deep sis. definitely a good example of how a song can make a cultural impact without being #1 on the hot 100.
