Just because some people aren't coming away with your feeling or interpretation of the song, it doesn't mean we're trying to separate ourselves from
Black culture. Who here is giving the impression that they're embarrassed to be black or trying to be uppity in some way like you just implied?

I simply dont view hot sauce in a bag as a "black" thing. its just country as fuck

I mean she called herself a Texas BAMMA :uhh:
BEYONCE!!!! BEYONCE!!!! BEYONCE!!!!

the song is typical Beyonce... plz don't be fooled hun. you're better than this.
its "Beyonce" AND how she loves that "BEYONCE" is a Black woman from the south and all that comes with it
but that makes her an opportunist right?

just want to make sure I understand your stance
no, how is loving herself being an opportunist?
Is Tweet an opportunist then for naming her album Southern Hummingbird?
when shes from New York?
ssss
that's a horrible comparison

stRay... the song is a single (buzz :dead: ) for an upcoming project
the song was exclusive to her husband's company
her upcoming TOUR was advertised right after the release
oh and the tour is call the Formation tour

I mean ... why can't the kettle just be black
why do you wanna make it into this big song full of substantial cultural impact
it has cultural references, but so do Khia's songs :kii:
impact often is determined by the strength and size of the voice.

so mentioning khia is useless bvy
exactly Bent u ok bro?
and if anything the fact the the song is EXCLUSIVE to her husband's company, and being given away for FREE there, shows that shes not being as opportunistic as she could be
AND proceeds from the tour gross will be donated to a Black 501c3
but weren't you ridiculing Rihanna for releasing on Tidal?

sooooooo.... I just don't know which side of the fence you wanna be on cause you're hopping over so fast boy

dxddddfdfdd right

could have been on Vevo!  no one makes a significant amount of money from Vevo views in the first place

IMO, its unlisted because that's a great way to keep it as a "tidal exclusive" and still have the rest of the world be able to view it.

I would just like to clear up the impact thing before the thread grows :dead:

cause up until now impact is completely suggestive, because it combated our argument of sis having little to no cultural impact

NOW impact is often determined by the size and strength of the voice and me saying I got the same views and emotions from some of Khia's lyrics is minuscule in comparison, I guess in efforts to extinguish that argument ...

but what happened to the subjectiveness of it? :dead:

we can't flip-flop on issues gorls, that's not fair in debates

yes I ridiculed Rihanna for releasing her album on Tidal, however I never called her an opportunist which is the topic. She was just clearly scared to release because her singles were flopping
and Adele was KILLING album sales, so she found a way to cheat her way to Platinum by having Samsung buy her plaque and giving the albums away free, now shes barely at 300k off of actual purchases

still on my same stance

I simply dont view hot sauce in a bag as a "black" thing. its just country as fuck
Country is more general. White people don't go crazy about hot sauce down here Rig.
:dead: it's definitely a Black thing.

but it's a black southern thing. But even in NYC I know many Blacks who live by their hot sauce.

I'm not lying when I say that big city Blacks are seen as more uppity. :dead: Don't take offense, I'm from the big city myself. I constantly have to hear how big city Black folks come down to the south thinking they own everything. And are too good for certain mess. :plzstop: :plzstop:

We're not as simple as they are.

It's a funny stereotypical joke, but eh

the hot sauce in the bag thing aint a good example of black pride tbh. it doesn't offend me or anything but im just sayin ...
why not? Honestly I think its more Black, and from the south pride. I dont think NY or LA Blacks are really known for carrying hot sauce, but I mean she called herself a Texas BAMMA :uhh:
s;;sdsds south pride, yes. i can go with that for sure

and this kinda goes back to the song mostly being about her and her family
Well her family is like many southern black families.
Hot sauce in the bag, beautiful big kinky hair, love to look good, buy designer mess when we can....seeing Red Lobster as a nice cute place to eat....salivating over those fucking biscuits.

Are we embarrassed about being Black? :plzstop: :plzstop:
