What I'm saying is that, in this day in age where everything has to be neutral and PC, it's refreshing to see someone as polished, politically quiet and 'neutral' as Beyonce touch on these issues
MJ and Janet at that time were edgy and outspoken, so them singing about those things wasn't shocking, this coming from Beyonce, who's music isn't necessarily thought provoking... is
