Real talk, Brandy makes bad decisions when it comes to business and career a lot(we can go thru the list). A headline about an industry Veteran suing a label for you to put out Your own music is embarrassing.

I remember shaking my head back in 2012 saying what the Hell is a Chameleon Records?  But I remember Brandy saying in an interview that her cousin Ryan introduced her to Breyon on the night of that show she did in LA @ the Key Club and she felt like he had her back. Buuuut in 2013 she did another interview where she said RCA was behind her doing a 3rd single and video but it was Breyon's decision and him holding it up  so that was a clue that the relationship with Chameleon was getting rocky, And we all know the 2/11 movement pretty much ended after that.

So at the end of the day Brandy needs to get it together and have better judgement or hire a consultant to tell her to not fall for the first idiot with a recording contract and promises.

Well, Brandy is over all this ok. So just get ready for her. Damn!

It's obvious her deal with Chameleoon was a good deal on paper. It wasn't until the RCA distribution for Chameleon ended and Breyon went to work for EPIC did things start to get rocky. I recall the board noticing the change on the Chameleon site a few years ago odd and everyone wondering if Brandy was going to EPIC with Chameleon.

I'm certain that her 5 album deal had some very solid things in it.

And it's not sad, many large artists have had label and contract issues including MJ, Prince, and Toni Braxton. There is nothing embarrassing about getting your legal shit straight so a motherfucker can't come back in 3 years when you've earn certifications and awards and have sold out tours.

Hope that first part wasn't directed towards me because I read all the articles before posting and I still don't understand someone as established as Ghan to sign a 5 album deal. That's nonsense.

I hate that she has to go through this . Everyone makes mistakes and hopefully Brandy will make better choices down the road . Hopefully we won't have to wait for a long time to get new music after all this ...
