My only question is
Is the manufacturer simply trying to be shady?
Or are they just misinformed or ignorant,  thinking that this type of hair actually grows out of our heads, since many of us wear it as if it does?

I just looked up the manufacturer "KS Toys"

http://www.kstoys.com/

As I assumed, they're based outside of America. :dead: :dead:
In Korea. Cuz Mattel knows better. :dead:

I don't understand why many of us are mad at this though
These are foreign people who design these dolls and they see pictures of us wearing this hair
They're clearly just trying to cater to what we see as "pretty".
They gain nothing from insulting us; there's no gain from them purposely manufacturing a doll that no Black or white person in their right mind would purchase. :dead: :dead:

They're basically putting up a mirror in front of us. And we cannot take.

But see...I don't think it's that. I think this is just their template for "American Baby." I'd be willing to bet that they have a white baby that looks just like this, long blonde locks n all, but with lighter skin. I don't think they thought deep enough to say "When we make our baby with a darker hue, we should change the hair color or make the hair kinkier."

Probably some company with a bunch of Korean sweatshops, who just turns out tons and tons of dolls, looking to make a profit and not really caring about the details of any of the dolls being produced.

Exactly.

Which goes back to why I don't understand the anger.

It's a misinformed group of people who are probably careless. And there are plenty of women of the same complexion with the same hair "installed" into their heads walking around. And we praise it and write it off as "self expression". But when we see it on a baby doll it's suddenly such an insult, a joke and mockery? :plzstop:
