Let me make something clear. I love Brandy. She is my fave. So when an opportunity like this arises for her I am happy. She definitely deserves it. However, I get frustrated because we have been waiting for music for so long. So when something like this does happen the chance of music being pushed back is very likely, and I'm not here for that. Music is first for me when it comes to Brandy. The actress & hosting stuff is great for her brand so I won't knock it. I'm just tired of waiting on her to release music.

If we were getting music regularly then I wouldn't have a complaint in the world, but once again we are going on another 4 year mess and it seems like we hear about everything BUT the music.

Definitely not clapping for this mess. Whenever she has an obligation to something that's not music it always pushes it back.

 

! Now that is true. And then people say "well, she balanced Moesha and NSN, she can do both!" like there wasn't four year between NSN and FM. Brandy has the talent to do a lot of things, but bottom line she can't put all her focus on releasing an album while filim a talk show and a sitcom.

And by the time she gets a break or is done with the show she'll be in a completely different place and musically and want to start over from scratch.

I'm just not here for it.
