What Ive gathered from some of you through out my time here is that some have simply out grown Brandy! There's nothing wrong with that. Like any relationship, as people change you may grow out of touch with them. How she records, releases, provide her music today simply may not work for you. Rather than keep scratching your scalp, just walk away. If you're not delusional than see your only option is to leave and be a fan of the artist that gives you what you need. If you're not a Brandy fan I dont know wtf youre here anyway.
Brandy has been doing this 20+. I personally understand as a fan, that Brandy has maintained a sense of relevancy over the years that her peers will never know. How can I not appreciate that? ANYTHING that Brandy does is special to me simply because she didnt have to have that opportunity. Mya cant do it! Monica cant do it! So to be able to be blessed with her gift regardless of how minimal, is gratifying to me. That will not be the case for all.
The expectations that some of you guys have for a 20 year vet in a modern music industry is redic. The fact that some of you still cant see that acting and broadway are the only things that has allowed her to provide music AND feed her family is bewildering.
What Breyon said has some validity but it's shit we already knew. He highlighted her struggles. But to think he didnt try to work a double deal on Bran and agree she's lying speaks alot about how yall really view her. I have no doubt he tried to work a fast one! If he could have pulled the music, he wouldve. Nobody is not going to make profit off something they feel they're entitled to unless......they are wrong.
