this is very unfortunate and sad to read. no question that Bran has been fighting for the past few years to get her career back at the forefront but i will agree with the overall tone of his note which is ...... Bran got more fucking control than she likes to make people think.
I wish that she would surround herself with the right people and just get it together. Just fucking make sure Sonja is right by your side through business transactions and get it together.
I do believe that Bran has a hard time getting signed. That I DO Believe. And if she is getting offers they're not the type she wants or deserves because the truth is, Bran does not bring in revenue like she USED to or like many other mainstream acts.
Acting before music? Definitely believe it. I 100% believe that Bran wen through a phase where she wanted to just focus on acting and really wanted to probably give up on music. And i think that all comes from what was infront of her. She wasn't getting offered MANY deals and the deals that were infront of her were pretty much bullshit deals. her album sales have been declining and her star appeal has been overshadowed by younger more consistent acts. Putting all that together, why would anyone feel confident in moving forward with a music career? There's no boost of confidence in that istuation at all.
Oh and about this "Bran has the coins to..." Yall don't know Bran's pockets. She's good i'm sure she's good but just because she's WEALTHY doesn't mean she wants to use her money to put towards expenses like music videos. Even by using unknown directors and producers, you're still paying COIN. She has a daughter and a family and Bran is OBVIOUSLY very careful with her money. She's comfortable as FUCK but I don't see her as being the type to invest her COIN into her career that much, especially when she doesn't come from that type of mindset. Her finances and how she handles them and what she likes to do with her money or what she SHOULD do with her money is all speculation.
Simple solution. Bran needs to meet with Breyon and asked to be officially released. I hate to say it, but not one lie was told in this note. Maybe his timing is off but the shit kind of makes sense and the actions of the past few years sort of supports his claims. Meet with Breyon, officially terminate any partnership with him, go independent or go after a new deal (which she said she has one on the table last time I remember). Breyon sort of feels slapped in the face WHICH btw if I were hima nd these statements deem true, I would too. Like girl we were cool when you needed me and now because your career didn't go the way you wanted, you're acting up. He probably didn't support ALL the decisions she made and probably didn't give her the treatment she wanted or deserved but this is business; can't work off emotions. Have that meeting, terminate the shit and MOVE on.
End of the day there's two sides to a story. We've heard his side but we really haven't heard HER side from her own mouth or statements. All we got was articles on her wanting to go to court which can easily be obtained. Doesn't necessarily mean Brandy sent out an email blast to bloggers to talk about it.
