How and the he'll did Brandy have a one album deal when she said on her lawsuit against Chameleon she was signed for 5 albums? Are you girls dumb?

Knockout is Ray's label or was his label and they along with Koch had a distribution deal through Epic Records. Brandy was dropped from Epic because they we're in the process of recording another album. Once Amanda Ghost got fired and JLO song flopped it was a free fall on Epic. Lets no be delusional here.

Gorl, you're not reading through.

They wanted her to sign a SIX album deal which she refused. Her initial deal with RCA was one album, Chameleon then moved on to Epic.

I think everybody is confusing things instead of breaking it down.

She sign a deal with Chameleon with the option for 6 albums. Breyon says it a "production" deal.

While under said deal, a 1 album distribution deal was signed with RCA...the album we know as 2/11.

RCA could not drop her if she satisfiedthe terms of the deal by releasing said 1 album, which she did.

While still under contract with Chameleon for optional additional 5 albums, Chameleon ended its relationship with RCA, Breyon went to work at Epic and took Chameleon him. Now there is an Epic distribution deal on the table but they want profit from all of Brandy's acting, touring, etc.

The Chameleon, Epic, and RCA deals are not one in the same.

Breyon is one flop ass nigger if he can't pull anything for Bran but a 360 deal with Epic...

If Tania can sign with Def Jam, certainly Bran can find a major label too.

At this point, I can only continue to wait to see what will happen.
And support the products (whether TV, Music, other media) that I'm interested in.
BRANDY

Why are y'all arguing about the ancestry mess in here too?

:uhh:

:dead:I thought I'd tapped on the wrong thread.

I've read both statements several times.I still don't understand the six album option. Is it optional for Brandy or Chameleon?Just trying to gauge how long this is going to take.

The option is generally to te benefit of, and the decision of, the label.

I think this whole thing has gotten so ugly and not because the parties involved wanted it to be; the fans and blogs I'm sure have instigated Breyon's feelings.  He had to approve this press release and it is very unprofessional. But I've come to expect that from him, the Chameleon site is/was filled with spelling and grammatical errors.

you know what...

I'm just gonna make a concious effort to stay out of the threads pertaining to her non-music related ventures. you gorls wanna stan for brandy the renaissance woman (and some of you just wanna live with your heads up brandy's ass because it think it makes you look more devoted than the next star) and that's fine, but I know I'm not that interested in any other than the music.

!!!!

I agree with this. I'm gonna do the same.
