Not assigning a fckn book report :plzstop:
Look, we didn't personally know the man.  What we're speaking about is his music and who would do it justice to tribute him.  Like, stop being fckn stupid.

Why not just take the time to research his legacy first?

I'm really sick of you calling me and others fucking dumb, over a fucking point you chose to a) ignore or b) get flippant about. fck u.
are artists being influenced not part of his legacy?

But instead of acknowledging artists that YOU are familiar with so that Prince can be represented, why not take the time on your own to educate yourself on his legacy? He just died!

Y'all wanna brainstorm over a tribute two months away, but can't Wikipedia the man? This millennial generation sickens me. Always on to the next.
well for one, he was notorious for making his music hard to find
so it's not like we can listen to most of it
and 2nd clearly we KNOW of him and his music if we know for sure whose music sounds like him, so why would we want to Wiki him? :uhh:
just stop disrupting the positivity to complain
Prince would be honored that his music lives through so many artists

My original point was the tribute talk seemed early for someone who just died. But this is the culture we live in. Information is spread rapidly and people are now becoming more accustomed to earlier expectations regarding the hooplah and media circus regarding a celebrities death.

I never negated that artists were influenced by him.

If you felt my original statement was negative, you could have chose not to entertain it.

Legendary.

He was so unique and interesting.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall of his conversations.

But yeah despite the negativity from some on here,
R.I.P Prince. Let me dig into his Legacy and appreciate his talent.
