I have a question of my own. To those campaigning.

Situation:
It's a holiday. And MESS is everywhere. One Thread has gotten out of control. 96 pages deep.
There's 5-8 members in that thread who committed MESS that warrants a BAN for ALL of them.

How would you resolve the situation?

I would review the mess first to be fair. If it's really deep I would lock the thread
and call a meeting with the mods & admins to see how we should proceed as a team.

You see...my solution HANDLES the issue at hand without opening the window for more possible mess.

You become the NEW mod. And members start TESTING you. Lashing out at you more often. Dragging for you for filth. Taunting you. "Whatcha gonna do, ban me?" Furthermore, they start coming for your FAVE more aggressively. How would you handle this situation?

Drag them the fuck back. Just because you're a mod doesn't mean that you all of a sudden lose your fight.
If someone comes for me then it's open season. If they come for my fave then I yank theirs.

You just make sure you play within the rules.
