I don't like the idea of white people adopting black children and using them as an accessory.

progressive! not racist! new age!

LOONA.

Why would they post this?

They're just looking for mess.

Mel.

it's annoying when people bring up the "accessory" thing
how do yall know that's the case tho?

why do yall look as it more so as theyre giving a kid a loving home
that most likely their birth parents couldnt or didnt give a fuck to
yall always look at the negative in things instead of the beautiful things...
those kids have a home to call their own and what seems to be loving parents....

what's the issue?

Is it okay? Yes

How do I feel about it? It's off putting. I feel like as parents we sometimes have to use our better judgement and separate what's best for us, from what's best for our kids. This was for him and his lover with no regard for the light the kids will now stand in. Two white dads with black sons who are encouraging them to kiss is not going to go well on social media. You have to know this as an adult with common sense. So the only reason for posting this IMO is to make a social statement or low key bait for a reaction (because you know you're getting one). If it was merely about love you would have enjoyed your private moment, and be content with not subjecting your children to public shaming on social media. What ever positive feedback or new normal dad of the year award he received isn't worth the spotlight  that is now place on his kids and family. The trade off isn't worth it and I would protect my kids from social media trolls.

WHEW

Mel.

would you rather they have a loving home
no matter the race of the adopted parents

OR

continue to be stuck in the system for however long that is....??
or be bounced from place to place...

ch...
some kids don't even get to know what its like to have a home
a lot of them are stuck in the system all their lives just to be THROWN out at 18 like trash
and many become homeless, turn to drugs, etc...those kids have a HOME.

and yall worried bout the race of the adopted parents??
some of you gorls ASTOUND me. like, how dare you :uhh:

SouravMay

While we are conditioned to believe this weird or even immoral, I am not mad at this at all. As long as everyone is happy and healthy.

They have a beautiful family. This couple did what most people, no matter what race, would never do?take in someone else's children to raise as their own. Some of y'all can't even raise a bar of soap to clean your asses. Good for them.

gor fuckin plea, you know how racist most of the white gays are.

wouldn't be surprised if they were just using these kids as tax write offs.

Mel.

and one thing before I leave this thread for good
because some of the replies in here has me PISSED & DISGUSTED!

a lot of kids in the system get abused, whether it be physical, emotional, sexually, etc...
so if one kid can be saved from possibly going through that
I'M ALL FOR IT!

yall need to step outside of yourselves, your "personal" feelings and think about others. I'm done
