I was actually thinking that actually. It's crazy how much Ciara promotes but still gets bare minimum sales but she does a great job at keeping herself out there. Brandy could benefit from more events because it would help with her overall branding..

I've actually been impressed that she's attended more industry events this year. Pre-Oscar and Grammy parties, Elton John's Oscar viewing event, BET events. She's doing it at her own pace and I'm cool with that. LOL @ her having more fun hanging out with those 2 old broads making Instagram videos She's about to give us an actual tour...I ain't mad at it..

I don't see nothing wrong with people wanting Brandy to be more visible.

Not a person here can say if Brandy woulda showed up and showed out at the met randomly that that kinda promo couldn't garner hella interest.   Promo on that kinda platform would be amazing.

I don't care how "fake" these events are (I'm sure not all people there wanted to be there). But they do it because it's apart of the game

Brandy is an icon and she should be able to decide what she wants to attend. Everything Brandy does professionally seems to trend but trending does not equate sales. At the end of the day, she doesn't have a project to promote right now, so why waste money on a dress and glam squad? Ya'll kill me tryin to tell her how to spend her life, time, and money.

What Brandy accomplished by 18 is more than most adults will ever accomplish in their lifetime. That's not what she's about anymore. I wish yall would stop trying to make her be a "pop" girl at 37 years old. Been there, done that. Let her live and do her career the way she chooses. Nobody is telling MJB or Lauryn Hill how to handle their careers, let her be. She's a fuckin ICON even if she never sells another album or acts on another tv show. She's made history time and time again. At this juncture, just enjoy what she decides to give because she doesn't have to do any of this entertainment shit if she doesn't want to. I'm sure she could disappear and just live off her money.

!!!! I'm sure most of the attendees don't want to be there. it's just part of the job and a cute look. Like going to an annual work Christmas party....... Beyond that, it's just easy publicity on a major platform.

Yeah I kinda agree, Bran needs to suck it up and just do it! It's not gon hurt her and it's only going to help her with how visible she is in the game right now b/c obviously she's doin everything in her power to stay seen out here with the TV shows & everything she's working on... so clearly she cares to a certain extent...
