Future Trunks, or simply Trunks to many, is returning to the Dragon Ball saga this June and will face a new enemy in Dragon Ball Super, the latest TV series currently airing in Japan.
Future Trunks is an interesting character in the original Dragon Ball narrative, the son of Vegeta and Bulma he comes from an alternate future where the Androids have devastated the Earth.
Around the time of his appearance, he?s also able to go Super Saiyan much to the surprise of everyone around him.
In Super it sounds like the new villain he?ll face is called ?Goku Black? but details on that are still somewhat sketchy.
Planned to debut on June 12th, the big thing about the reappearance of Trunks is his new hair color (shown above).
Previously, his hair was purple when not in Super Saiyan form. Here though, it is blue and that could mean that like his father and Goku he has also attained Super Saiyan Blue.
