An #Arkansas judge has been using the powers invested in him for all the wrong things. Cross County District Judge #JosephBoeckmann is being accused of swapping sex for reduced sentences. He resigned Monday after over 4,5000 photographs of nude male defendants were found on his computer. "They all depict young men, many naked who are in various poses inside the judge's home and outside in his yard," the Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission said in a letter dated May 5. "There are numerous photos of naked young men bending over after an apparent paddling," the letter continued.
Documents were filed in November after several men, one under 18, detailed being in Judge Boeckmann?s court for minor violations. He would then give them a handwritten note with his phone number on it so that they could do ?community service? at his home.  One man said he continued to have  a sexual relationship with Boeckmann while he paid off fines that Boekmann granted extensions for. The judge denied the allegations at the time, but was suspended later that month. ?He?s a criminal predator who used his judicial power to feed his corrupt desires,? the JDDC commission?s executive director, David Sachar, told The Associated Press. ?Every minute he served as a judge was an insult to the Arkansas Judiciary.?
