QuoteIn the United States, Lotus debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 73,408 units. This was considerably lower than Aguilera's previous album, Bionic (2010), which opened at number three with sales of 110,000 units, thereby becoming Aguilera's English-language studio album with the lowest first week sales. The following week it fell to number seventeen with sales of 52,558 copies

I mean the Destiny's Child format was Bey singing mostly everything
when they came out
and when the performed the other girls stayed in the back mostly
she may as well have been solo I dont see the difference

i want to believe u have more sense than that
it's one thing to say she's the main singer
it's another to just discredit the other girls like they didn't sing verses or had a presence or enhanced the music
they didnt sing verses though
they sang the hook with Bey, and thats only live cuz on the low Bey did a lot of the backgrounds too in the studio
but it was just like a solo singer with Background singers/dancers
Kelly was the "2nd lead" if you want to reach I guess

when DC was OVER and done...
they each SANG something
that's the way I remember them.......
thats why I made sure to specify when they first came out
from Survivor on it was more equal
but I mean if she functioned basically as a solo singer in the beginning, I dont see how ppl think she couldnt have made it as one

their DEBUT is their WORST selling album tho...
with all Bey... so...
TWOTW is their biggest album of them all and its mostly Bey

but u were just discussing when THEY FIRST CAME OUT
which is one is IT
stay on topic...
its only their 2nd album
they were still pretty new

so are u acknowledging that their first album flopped or?

forget it...
its Platinum so it didnt flop

Ok, yeah, sure, cool.

Minor?

She sold less than BIONIC which was already her lowest selling album.

She's DONE.
