I just realized that when I think of mega girl groups, I think of black women. As stupid as that's sounding now as I'm typing it. Doesn't have to be dark-skinned, but just black women in general.

I grew up on TLC, SWV, DC, etc. And I LIVE for that kind of slayage. I don't think of white or any other race really. I can't even name one white girl group that I cared for or that impacted me. Not due to them being white, but due to it just not happening? So as I was watching, it was a bit EH, as I had envisioned something else. I guess I was looking for a SWV/Xscape mess out feel/look. But honestly, that was so ignorant of me and foolish.

Really foolish. I feel embarrassed by that.
