You can lowkey hear the gorls going AWF in the background once the beat drops.

"I Thought" is a really good song to start her set.

not having background singers is being really lazy in my book.

One thing is an album, another thing a tour or concert. If you want to give a live experience, it should be 100% live, thats concerts should be, not a half/half approach.

Yeah,  Bran!  get BG vocals.  That will really set off that live arrangement.

i understand your point and for that reason I wouldn't mind background singers at ALL

It's just that Brandy is a lot more unique than some of the other artists I love :dead: I wouldn't even deem it to be "lazy" since she's been there done that. I think it could be an honest preference as far as she's concerned

Im willing to bet she isn't cheap either. Not when it comes to her own show anyway

I know its hard to find the right backsingers... but IM 100% sure there are people out there that could do a decent job, and at the end of the day, its a live version, it doesnt have to sound EXACTLY like the album track. If people want the album track, they have the actual album.

A concert should offer something new. thats the point right? the point of each era/tour is to offer new things, not the same backtrack as 16 years ago  :dead: :dead:

sorry, but that aint cute. not 16 years later. not when many big acts give a LIVE show, wheter its great or not, but they made the effort.

I respectfully disagree. What you just said makes zero sense in my opinion. Brandy does give a live show with a live band and her band always slays and her shows are always great!

Now to add background singers just for the live effect even if it doesn't sound the way she wants it to sound would be crazy. I don't want effort, I want a great show and that's what she gives.

I want her to have background singers as well but only if it works, not just for her to give the effort and it sounds a mess (again).

GLOCK

Yeah bran live with her background vocals streaming through >>

100% agreed!

This new tour should have EVERYTHING. And she's an artist that likes to do new things and we've gotten a glimpse of that already with "I thought" and many other examples in terms of her always changing her sound and blah blah

I expect the unexpected with this upcoming tour and implore the rest of the fans to do the same lol!

!!!! My hope is that they've taken the time to search for all of that behind the scenes. If they haven't found anything adequate, then hey.

I really don't mind there not being BG singers. Half the time the background singers end up lipping to Brandy's BG vocals anyways, like they did during the Human era. And tbh, I don't see Brandy having 4 background singer and then 2-4 dancers. That's a lot of expenses for an indie artist, established or not. I don't think she'll have dancers at her show either but who knows. We'll have to just wait and see. Honestly, I'm just excited about the set list. It better not be the same ole same ole.

Why would she have background singers at a Pride show? n
