I can't imagine my jollof without a side of chicken
Or my pepper stew with no fish
:gorlonfire:

mnbnbnbnbh
!!! i couldnt either at first
and right now,i just dont like the idea of using these asian imitation meats in traditional ghanaian food..

i do jollof with with peas, fried plantains and a side of veggies (coleslaw or cabbage stir fry mess)...and maybe baked beans if you're into that....    :justabit:

but i mean your red red and plantain is already vegan
groundnut soup, light soup,  palm soup, okro stew, kontomire are all just as good without meats  :woohoo:

I threw away the dairy and eggs I had in the fridge. I'm not a big meat eater so I have no issue passing up on a burger and I don't eat seafood really but I'm not letting go of kitfo. :overit: I only eat it like 3-5 times a year anyway on our holidays. :overit: Then there's tibs, ayibe, etc yeaaaa sor' :overit:

ugh yess...  :plzstop:
...and you CAN still have burgers...

i think ethiopian cuisine is very different from ours ......like most of our stews and soups can stand on their own without meat and fish....

but based on this pic of tibs

mmm...the meat is kinda the star of the show
yeah ur gonna have to try seitan, tofu or tempeh in place of it

Yh I read somewhere most African people and their descendants don't have the enzyme that tolerates diary in milk.
Never mind all the antibiotics, pus, blood, enzymes that's in milk :uhh:
I don't know how it is in the US but they do check those type of things to make sure the milk is ok. Milk from heathy cows shouldn't be a problem for most people.

I know a lot of people who eat regular food and don't break out with acne, etc. it's actually more rare for me to see people who complain that certain/specific foods make them break out or have some adverse effect on their body.

From what I've seen a lot of people go vegan, etc. for health reasons, to "do better", etc. Kinda the same mess as people who drop carbs, etc. Carbs don't kill them, they just want to see what life is like when they're reduced or eliminated.

nah a lot do it for ethics and the environment and other problems that ending animal agriculture can potentially solve (starvation in the 'third world')....honestly, i dont care THAT much about health...

everyone has a threshold were mess starts happening....some people eat little enough meat/dairy that its not a problem...for others it catches up with them when they get older and these start experiencing all these problems that are a direct result of the decades of abuse to their bodies...meat does no favors for your body or health lol

reduction or elimination of carbs is never a good thing...thats your bodys primary source of energy..and there's plenty of high protein plant foods...whereas meat has no carbs....so nah...low carb is nothing like cutting out animal products

jhjhjh

annie..that industry does NOT care about what is going into our bodies...as long as they're making their coins and as long as these products are not going to kill us instantly ...and there's no way of knowing if these cows are 'healthy'....most of them are not....what would qualify as healthy? just curious

these studies that jayden is talking about were conducted on milk from store shelves..even after all the processes used to try and get rid of the mess....it still contains traces with pus, blood, and even traces of feces and obviously natural or injected hormones and antibiotics...very small traces...but its still there.

Oh well! Still gonna drink my glass of milk

AIDS!

Weird because people are cautious of what they put in their bodies?

Barbie Dangerous

They really should've shot and killed that little boy's mother after they shot the gorilla.
