Las Vegas could be living for the applause.

Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Calvin Harris are some of Vegas? biggest headliners, but they?re not the only A-listers that might be calling Las Vegas their second home.
Following reports Justin Timberlake is eyeing a deal to be one of the resident headliners at the newly renovated Park Theater at Monte Carlo, and he may be joined by Lady Gaga.
A new report from the Las Vegas Sun claims Gaga could be inking a deal to perform there for a string of dates as well. If negotiations pull through, Gaga may be dreaming about performing a jazz show. Word on the street is she?s planning to release a jazz album with her Cheek To Cheek co-star Tony Bennett before the next studio album debuts.
A company spokeswoman said Thursday, ?At this moment, it is all speculation as we are not ready to make any announcements regarding talent for the Park Theater.? MGM Resorts Chairman Jim Murren had this to say: ?I can say the quality of those you have written about are the nature of those we are working with,? he said. ?I can?t confirm those names, but they are in the stratosphere of who we are going to have next year at the Park Theater. They will be the best of the best, and someone who has never done this type of residency before.

i dunno how i feel bout this...i can understand Tony Bennett doing it and she joing here and there to promote Cheek to Cheek and their second album but I don't think it's a smart move for her or Justin tnh...Britney run is successful but her International fanbase needs her too and that contract restricts so much of their general promo outside of Vegas  :19k:

I'll be happy when someone I actually like does a residency here.

I used to think this was for artists past their prime. I guess not.

🌍

yummy

I mean, it's kind of like touring but the fans come to you instead of you having to travel and be away from your family for months at a time. Not a bad idea.

There's nothing wrong with doing a residency. It makes it easier for fans to see their faves live.

what about the international fanbase outside the states tho....why leave australia and those other countries to pay way more like accomodations and all that stuff to see them for one night  :ohwow:
