Personally I don't see any issues with the set list. I expected a few unreleased tracks but never expected that to be the majority. I did hope for one new song outside of B&P but I understand her over seas fans haven't seen her in a long time so she has to do her classics.

The choreo can go at this stage in the game. Ide prefer for Bran to  look like a goddess and get emotive with her music. If she's gonna do choreo it needs to be ground breaking. I do like a light 90s bop during her set but no full out routines.

I don't care if she lips, honestly. Just came from Bey tour and she was lipping her fucking life away. However, I don't expect her to sing full out during a mini rehearsal, so I wouldn't base anything off of this footage.

All in all, I'm very excited. Brandy rarely disappoints me and when Im in doubt she usually slays me the most. I just want Bran to really focus on a show thats mature and for someone of her caliber. Her biggest hits are from when she was a teen, but I'm not really looking for fun and bubbles at this point. I want regal confidence and a subdued slay.

I feel like Bran STILL feels like she has something to prove and she doesn't.
Exactly!!!!

I want Brandy to cater to her fans, not give a generic performance of what she feels an artist should do. The majority of her concert goers are her real fans and she needs to tailor her shows to that. We aren't fans of Brandy for her dancing, it's about her voice and that should be the focus. I'd rather her strip the show down than trying to do too much. I really want Brandy to be the Erykah, Jazmine, Fantasia, Jill type of performer. I don't know why she is still trying to do this teeny bopper mess with choreography, especially to songs she did at 16 that she has surpassed in maturity- I'm sorry but it's cheesy. That's why I think Frank Gatson is a joke- he doesn't get her.

I think a lot of her older songs should be revamped for a mature sound. Brandy can't forego performing her biggest songs like IWD and SUIMR but she can rework them to make them sound more mature and contemporary. I have alternative versions of a lot of her older songs on my computer that would work great.

Like I said before she doesn't really have a vision as an artist and that's fine because that's what you pay people to do. But she doesn't have the right team that can create a vision for the type of artist she is and that's whats frustrating. I want something for her that I know will never happen.

sorry, thats why I try to stay out of these threads. I get voicing ur opinion but it gets annoying in some of these posts, cant lie. Takes me back to my younger days when I had to TOSS

As far as BRandy performing a medley of songs from "CHICAGO", a lot of her fans didn't get to see her on Broadway, so she's just giving them a taste of what she's been doing. It showcases her versatility as a vocalist and it's very entertaining. Not only that but it's very smart. I daresay Brandy has been the best thing to happen to that show since the movie. She's great for promo and the producers adore her. She's building good standing in the theatre world, something that she loves to do.

I think most of her career she's listened to everyone else and what they want. I imagine the Slayana Tour is about what BRANDY wants.

yall always complaining about people complaining
let people voice their opinions...unless it's not bashing or overtly negative
I don't see the issue

and just because someone doesn't like something it doesn't mean it should be seen as a negative
don't you want people to tell the truth and not lie just because....
everyone aint gonna be a yes man, maybe people  just want more and better for bran because she's CAPABLE
look at it that way instead of calling people "negative" and "miserable" like... :uhh:
I'm sorry, I thought as fans, everyone is welcome to share their opinion on things...
Yes all this. I just want her at her FULL potential.

Ugh Brandy needs a new creative director. Frank is overrated and people give him a pass because he works with Bey. But Brandy needs someone that knows her strengths and who will focus on that. I mostly blame her because it seems like she looks to take direction rather than creating her own vision. *sigh* But at least she's changing her set list.
Did you watch her Black girls rock performance that her and Frank worked on together? That was a collaborative slay and it exists through HER vision

Let's not :dead: I understand wanting some fresh energy and a new director but they slay together. She's doing her own thing now and it ain't giving beyonce like the TwoEleven era did  (in spots)

!!!

It's very much Brandy and I love it

Well it's a matter of opinion because I didn't like the concept of the performance or video. I just don't care for her performance style it doesn't work for the type of artist she is. Cut the choreography and get background singers.

THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!
