GHan also records a LOT of songs that would be difficult to sing live without assistance.
Especially during Afrodisiac.
You can tell that she recorded one part of the verse, stopped, recording the next part, layered. Then stopped, recorded the next piece.

That's a reason why people assumed she avoided certain teas from different eras.
They were in the same vein of Moving Mountains in terms of tight arrangements.
"Studio songs"

Listen to the first verse of this song:

The only saving grace that she'd have is that its SMOOTH.

Ushers giving a Focus mess out but BELTING to the top of his range. like he lost his mind in that studio :plzstop: :plzstop: :udontlookok:

That's what makes it difficult.

Focus is on Brandy's set list for the tour.
Brandy is also a very capable singer that has come to know her voice quite well
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

The problem Vonc is missing is that Usher is not singing in falsetto on Moving Mountains, he's singing in full voice and PUSHING it as hard as he can
I'm sure if it was in falsetto like Climax he would have no problem
This Woman's Work is also in falsetto and just way more relaxed vocally

Yeah. Usher's live vocals are a hit or miss. Mostly a miss.

Vonc2002

Usher just aint a great singer,  PERIOD :kii:
Ugh, hard vocal
PLEA :plzstop:

I gave up. :plzstop:
The examples of Maxwell, since when was Maxwell some loud powerhouse belting vocalist. :plzstop:
exactly
I mean Maxwell is a beast but :dead:
then he uses his most soft & chilled vocal  :plzstop:
I actually could see a really high tenor like Brian McKnight
anyone from Boyz II men or Tank doing well with this live

Vonc2002

Well u did say who else could do it? like it was some "I will always love you" vocal :plzstop:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Yas. Now Wanya could handle this.

Brian could definitely give it a good go too.

This was very ambitious for Usher to record. You can tell just by listening to the record that he was at HIS limit during this song.

Doesn't mean this is EVERYONE"s limit or that this would be difficult for everyone to do. But this was brave of him to do live. :plzstop: :plzstop:
yea but one thing I think that he could learn from Bran is to bring the key down some
I mean in a concert you have multiple songs back to back
it can really harm your voice to be trying to go off like that
especially when he does a lot of dancing too
He would kill it just a little lower

That was an honest question Vonc, not a shady one.

you misinterpreted my post.

I asked who could handle the song live
Oh ok. I thought u were giving a "WHO ELSE?" :letsmessfag:
In which case :uhh:
& im not being a hater :dead:
Usher is not very impressive IMO. He's an alright singer but not a really good or even great singer. Furthermore, this song was terrible :kii:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

RAY7

You called him a "shit" vocalist
you're hating

Vonc2002

Oh well that's true imo. Usher is just a singer,  not a "vocalist". Im entitled to my opinion :dead:
If that makes me a "hater", that's fine.
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

!!! he almost lowered it in the Good Day America performance after his voice CRACKED but he brought it right back on up :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:

He shouldve brought the key down at least 2 steps. Its possible that maybe in rehearsals he did well but so early in the morning, bring the tracks down a couple steps. And Vonc is right. The song is absolute trash.
