When the gays make blacks and other groups apart of their agenda, that's when the 'bitching and moaning' will stop.

Black and brown people have had to watch their history be completely whitewashed by Hollywood and the media
A lot of the riots, movements, inventions, cultures ect that we started have been completely reassigned to paler folk
So when the black and Latino transgender and gays wanna complain when a potiential momunetal movie detailing the movement they had huge part in and potentially kickstarted, completely removes them history...
I can see why they'd wanna 'bitch and moan' as you so aptly put it.
If race shouldn't be and wasn't a focus point, then they wouldn't have though twice about casting some brown people.
The two people credited for starting the riots were a black and Latina trans woman, now they're being replaced by a white gay man?
They removed all the brown and black butch lesbians, drag queens, trans and replaced them by white gay men
:uhh:  :dead:
Hollywood and their white male hero complex
:plzstop:

Not when blacks are the most homophobic ones out there. I understand why gays don't want to make them apart of their agenda.
I am scarred, so fucking scarred
These are the scars of me
The very fucking scars of me
This is my tragic heart

v

But Jay what does that have to do with anything?
Painting history incorrectly is just not fair to the blacks that actually have made a difference and aren't afraid to live in their truth!

I don't get why you're so gung-ho to defend whites and want everyone to see the "big picture" ...
The greater picture is that we were behind this movement and it needs to be portrayed accurately .. And who knows? Someone seeing that there are blacks out there that have made a difference in the gay community could actually help others becoming more accepting of who they are .. And understand that this is their (gay blacks) fight as well

Some White people can be so annoying...

QuoteWhile I understand the inaccuracies in the movie, I think we need to focus on the big picture and understand this is not a race issue this is an issue of the LGBT community.
QuotePeople forget the fact that the movie states "Inspired by" and not "based on". It's not a documentary. It's a movie. Stop boycotting.
QuoteThis article upsets me. We are focused on the wrong issues. We are fighting each other when we should be joining together. Stonewall as a major motion picture is ground breaking in itself. Instead of tearing it down use it's momentum for positive, for change not inner fighting. We continue to lose ground every time we attack one of our own. It's not perfect, it's not as accurate as it should be, it's Hollywood... CHANGE THE PERCEPTION overall.... not the movie.
Quote"Waaaaah a movie doesn't pander to me and my whiny SJW narrative which is actually way more biased and skewed than the movie anywaaaaay!!!"

So don't watch it. Stay home and cry about microaggressions on Tumblr.

They are so dismissive of shit like this, but will bitch & moan endlessly over Human Torch, who is fictional, being made Black, or the Chick-Fil-A CEO spending HIS OWN coins on anti-gay agendas.

Like, I fuckin can't. I just can't...
Ugh white faggots are the worst

No shade but b source really helped me accept being gay or bi or whatever u wanna call it..
Talking to Yumz and Bre about it and seeing things from another perspective opened my eyes
And finding you guys who are just like me helped me connect with the lifestyle much more!
I had a mind that it was just some faze that I would get over.. A hobby if u will.. But as time has passed I'm owning my place in this lifestyle..
I'm not fully there (see: my opinion on trams ppl) but I'm a work in progress ..
Seeing that they are making a movie about this and that blacks were instrumental behind it kinda got me excited and kinda want to one day make a similar difference..
But now I see they are erasing the blacks.. It pisses me the fuck off..
Little black boys and girls need to know that there are ppl involved that are just like them and these gay issues are not WHITE issues.. They are our (all races) issues!

Growing up I always felt like being gay was really a white thing and a few blacks..
But I learned that's not the case..
This movie drives my adolescent sentiments about homosexuality .. Sorry! It's not fair or accurate ... And it's disgusting ..
We just dealt with this shit with the Egyptian movie

right
And the nerve to have this gollum turn around and say we don't deserve to be apart of this movie because we as a group are homophobic
We have rioted, demonstrated and picketed along with white gays and without.
We're only used for our highly sexualized image
To be some pale persons jungle fever
It's like casting Justin beiberto play Martin in 'Selma'
Oh hey! As long as the movement is the main focus, i guess it's a'ok!
