Hollywood tries to re-write history again. The sad thing is, uneducated gorls will take this as truth and really believe some small town White boy was at the center of this movement.

I've been seeing petitions for this movie going around.
I want to see just how many White gays get involved.

While I understand the inaccuracies in the movie, I think we need to focus on the big picture and understand this is not a race issue this is an issue of the LGBT community. 

People forget the fact that the movie states "Inspired by" and not "based on". It's not a documentary. It's a movie. Stop boycotting. 

This article upsets me. We are focused on the wrong issues. We are fighting each other when we should be joining together. Stonewall as a major motion picture is ground breaking in itself. Instead of tearing it down use it's momentum for positive, for change not inner fighting. We continue to lose ground every time we attack one of our own. It's not perfect, it's not as accurate as it should be, it's Hollywood... CHANGE THE PERCEPTION overall.... not the movie.
