Selling well the first week isn't doing well. She sold really well the first week of lemonade too but this will be her lowest selling album. Iono what's so hard to understand about this :dead:
There's a difference between having a great first week and your album  resting comfortably in the top 5. Adele is someone who had a great 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc week.
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

FRANCE

It wasnt doing the greatest SINGLES-WISE until Irreplaceable came out. Shit, even Listen that she was pushing to be the modern My Heart Will Go On, I Will Always Love U soundtrack smash underperformed. But the album sales were solid. However, Irreplaceable did breathe new life into the era. RTA and even Deja Vu a bit came off too forced and both shouldnt have been singles.

This era was everything to me from start to finish.
The Deja Vu video and then the BET awards performance  :loose2when: And when all the videos dropped  :gorlonfire:

Everything sounded so fresh and HER

Yea this is my favorite era tho. I loved deja vu from the beginning but that BET performance sealed it 4 me

Gilgamesh.

Im not fucking talking about the 1st week alone. Im talking about up UNTIL "Irreplaceable". Just like any big single it gave it more longevity. Which came about a month plus after the release of the album. like...dude.

The only thing DIL had going for it was the singles, B'Day is miles better

am mean...

DIL has all the accolades and commercial success tho!
:blessed:

and looking back, the hits dried up in a short period for Bey.

I used to say she didn't have a style but the truth is ....

Her style as an artist just isn't very well recieved IMO

Bey is kinda still riding off of DC and DIL praise tbh

!!!!
No lies told.
Her style is EVERYWHERE tbh. Very tacky.

Thank you. Her sells are always from hype of her stans, other than that regular working people aren't checking for her. Like u said, Adele is someone who has mass appeal and doesn't need gimmicks to sell. She's what you call an artist that gives me MJ/Whitney/Madonna/Bruce teas. She sells based off her name only and will continue to for duration of her career. beyonce doesn't have respect of regular ppl nor do they see her as this iconic/legendary singer that her stans make her out to be. Britney Spears is the only pop star from 00s that had that appeal. beyone's albums are one dimensional and she doesn't know how to take about anything other than jay-z. All these haters and money/bags/superficial shit can only get u so far. I mean I feel like she's been releasing DIL with every release. She's manufactured and doesn't give me authentic aritst. Whitney never wrote a song in her life but she was a singer and made it clear since day one. All beyonce does is lies and tries to come off as greater than. The industry may think she's some iconic legend but the general public sees her as just another singer. No one would dare care her to MJ because there is no compares. She's not known in Peru or Taiwan for that matter. None of her albums have been a huge event and had she not done that surprise release it would be another beyonce album with yells and beats with over 20 different writers.

Beyonc? sells off her name alone too I mean where have u been for the last 5 yrs :dead:

seriously yall need to stop the lies for this woman. She isn't a legend nor will her songs be remember come 2035. Like u seriously think this young generation even uses her. Go to any college campus in US and most of them are bumping rappers with a few rihanna fans in mix. She doesn't appeal to white Americans either. Without the press machine she's average. I'm willing to bet she'd be in same boat as all the other RNB female singers and thats the 100% truth. That Lemonade album could have been made by Mya, Monica, Tweet, Cassie, Teairra Mari, Letoya, Ghan, Ashanti, Amerie, Nivea, ETC. She isn't some god who can make timeless music. Hell her first Super Bowl performance confirmed that.
