Yoruba - I am sure he meant. One of the most impactful African peoples. Lots of the Caribbean sorcery is based on Yoruba juju. I don't really hear Yoruba on the song though...

There is Nigerian Pidgin English with Afrobeat and Dancehall/Island elements musically.
