When Maja and Beautii said Mushiya sent that client to Lakenya's salon

Lakenya was like, " :damselindistress:  :diddraispoot: Maybe she did."

Poor Lakenya. Being tossed to and fro. But she was wrong though for not approaching Maya first and telling her the plan is for her to not ditch Pretty Hair but to have both. Maybe if she sat with her 1 on 1 instead of be posing all up on the gram and with a new wig, Maya would be a bit more understanding.

I hate how they try to throw shade at natural hair and kinky textures.  Lakenya's hair slayed.  Their straight weaves are tired.  :overit:

They sound like coons.  And their hair and cute. :uhh:

Yea. And last season when Dedra threw shade at her being African. The fucking ignorance and disgust.

I went to college in Atlanta and I know for a fact TONS of girls are natural there.

I get what Mushiya is doing.  It's about styling and celebrating kinky textures, not so much the "natural" aspect.  She wears her own hair and crazy styles when she feels like it just to show how versatile our hair can be.

It's a shame that an experienced hairdresser like Lakenya didn't even know the basics about styling kinky hair, like detangling.

This!

And Mushiya's personality is over the top so all of that gets lost in how dramatic she is. But I'm all for what she's doing and trying to promote.

Mushiya is African and probably forged a lot of her business doing braided styles.  Africans have been been leaders in the braiding business for years, and braids are usually fake hair.  It makes sense that she would expand that to include kinky weaves to capitalize on the demand.

Even a lot of naturals wear wigs and weaves as protective styles to keep their own hair healthy.

:dead:  Mushiya was out of line at the parade.  Lakenya is a flip-flopper.
