What does training AHP mean?

Catching lots of pokemon so I can trade them in for candies and get stardust

My Hypno almost has 500 CP

but how did u get more candies for hypno.

yeah there's always like 2 or 3 Drowsee perched in my area at any given time, so I catch them. Then I transfer them in to get candies.
