I know it's the "it" thing to be unbothered or to make someone else mad online but im sure we have pet peeves or things that offend us sometimes.


What types of things offend you(online, offline, work, family setting, professional etc.)? How do you handle them in the moment?

I really like to TALK instead of arguing with people, especially my with family and they can't take that
and I like to make-up ASAP after a fight, like it never happened.
They call me "soft" because of it
We come from a culture where the loudest voice wins and mines is def not loud

I'm not offended often but when I am, I feel like it's the end of the world.

I'm not offended by anything that happens online.
People become exaggerated versions of themselves and say and do things they wouldn't normally do in person.

But in real life, I hate when people make sly remarks and throw subtle shade.
Just be direct. So that I can DIRECTLY respond.

I am rarely offended, but I think it's important to address it in the moment so things don't bottle up. I try to stay as calm as possible when bringing it to someone's attention, because I've noticed that people are on edge with young men of color almost as a default.

Ugly children with no home training

Annoying kids that run around stores and yea, I will tell that little demon to calm down and go to his mom.

Loud people annoy me. I just don't look at them since that's what they want.

Rude customer service. I will report your bitchass.

I can't stand people who talk loud on their phones while on the train.

Just the other day I was coming home and some hoodrat was on her phone with her boyfriend telling him she was gonna have him jumpes and beat his mother's ass etc;



And I left my headphones at home that day so I had no choice but to listen.

I hate when you hold the door open for people and they don't say thank you.

I politely say 'you're welcome' and make sure the next door closes right behind me

People who stand too close to me really offend me. I just take 3 or 4 steps back. Get away from me

One thing I don't really overly react to is men. Either I just act like I didn't hear you or I'll play nice. You not finna Rihanna me boy.
