My main problem with organized western religion is that it encourages conformity and singular thought. Which is a VERY dangerous thing. It allows a few people to control the minds of masses, and it forces anyone who is "different" into the dark. It glorifies certain ideas while condemning others.

And that's just not practical for the world we live in. We are all different for a reason. We all have our own path in life. There is no reason why we can't set off on it individually and respect each other's journey.

I mean I've been saying and telling my fam / friends this

We believed in the universal God once.
Because that's what we came from. We were in touch with the universal truth about the world around us and ourselves.

We were stripped of that. Given a tool for the field in one hand and a Bible in the other.

That's not to say that their aren't truths in the Bible because the overall message is the same; but don't just stop there; Get to KNOW God because he's deeper than those humanized parables .

Once you really understand it all you realize who's playground we're in and who we are on this playing field.

When I was in undergrad, I visited all types of services and observed different religions. It was incredibly enlightening, but it turned me off to organized religion in general. There is a lot of good in many religions, but the negative outweighed the positives for me.

I went to a catholic school and every now and then they were have mass in the gym. It was terrible. All that sitting and standing and that fucking chanting.

Been questioning this myself lately

Its kinda fundamental to me. It didnt take me long to stop and ask myself WHY and WHEN did I start talkin about some JesuH. When I realized I couldnt remember when, I realized it was taught to me in my childhood years, not something I actually decided to believe in. Tradition mess. I was turned off, and where it came from sealed the deal.

I think alot of black people have been seeing this question alot lately due to the rise in hoteps/woke blacks/militant blacks. majority of the time I see a bunch of black christians just losing their mind because I don't think they're used to people questioning Christianity as much as people are doing now.

Honestly it's like they don't have brains. Its like talking to a tenement wall.

Around my area Christianity has been the dominant religion and nobody questioned it, but recently more people have becoming Hotep like blacks(Which is honestly just as bad) I remember one of them started asking the people in my area questions about Christianity and people just started losing it instead of answering him it was

"The devil is busy!" "why are you like this! remember what your grandma taught you!" "The world is coming to an end! we're in last days!"

I was honestly cracking up because I was the same way at one point. I thought everyone believed in the Christian God and when I found out they didn't I was shocked and appalled.

The fact that one of the main rules of Christianity is don't ask questions because your mind can't understand. Just have faith has always bothered me.
