In the Catholic Church it's different though

My ex was Nigerian and his family were devout Christians
Like hardcore Catholics
Everything about their daily lives revolved around the scriptures
What they ate, how they are, where they went, what company their friends kept
It was very controlled
Not saying all Catholics are like this, but the ones I have been around are
And coming from an West African background where the majority of west Africa practises either Christianity or Islam it's crazy

They literally threw away hundreds of thousands of head worth of tradition and spiritually for a 'how to guide' and a white saviour born in the middle of the desert in a barn to a virgin woman
It's comical but look at the control its had

I believe we, and every animal, evolved from microorganisms. Adam and Eve were single celled organisms.

Now how the microorganisms came about is beyond my imagination, but I definitely dont think someone was saying "Let there be this, let there be that" flicking his hands like Akasha and plopping stuff into space.
