never understood parents that wanted to instill fear in their child. Like, unless you raisin' Jason Voorhees and the kid is messin' up all over the place, there's no purpose for it. So many people have no business parenting children.

It honestly makes children not want to open up and talk to the parent. You definitely shouldn't fear someone you love and parent shouldn't want that.

1. Stopping When the child gets the point
2. When they truly deserve it and you aren't hitting them just because you're upset about other things and placing your anger on the child
3. Letting them know WHY they are being spanked. (My Dad would often talk to me after and it would end with a hug and kiss)
