It is funny how they can build a career off of words, be these grande rappers, play lawyers, doctors in these Television show, but in reality most of the celebs we admire barely finished schools and never had the chance to study and really take time to properly learn how to do research, travel abroad, actually sit down and write academic papers, learn how to rationally analyze, how to evaluate, acquire a pool of background and contextual knowledge,

that in reality we shouldn't be surprised when they say some DUMB shit. They just can't know any better.

I think naturally we equate grown and successful with some sort of analytical ability, because it seems natural, but the whole celeb thing X's that out.

These folk, especially child stars had other worries than sharpening their brains out on the road in one of the most shallow and vain industries I can think of.

I mean this is the same Bow Wow who does not know what a pedestal is, the same one who thinks he "made" Erica Mena...

It is actually a tough pill to swallow how little intellect it takes to become a high profile actor in Hollywood though.

I don't think we forget, I think we ignore it.

It is just funny how everytime people lose their minds, when most of these people are regular working class folk with a low education status who just happened to make it in Hollywood.

I don't think it's a tough pill to swallow to see that these people aren't all that smart.

I'd be more devastated to discover that cities were hiring high school dropouts to be teachers or something. lol

These are occupations based on talent. And looks. With more emphasis on the latter.
And it embraces people who are younger, which explains why many don't get a chance to even finish junior high school.

r u shading Beyonc??

I just thought the craft of acting - not singing, but acting in particular would require more knowledge of literature, of language, some sort of analytical deepness to tap into a character and really discuss with the director etc. but then Bow isn't booking any high brow anti-colonialism drama either.

I think actors are usually more educated than singers.
You can become an actor at any time in your life, giving you the time to finish high school or even college.

Singers... pressure to be young and hot is on.
