I heard a record exec call Brandy the black Britney Spears at a Bleu Magazine event the other day... In terms of being the (black) teen pop queen that overcame a dark period in her career and gained her credibility back from all the negative press in her adult years... I didn't like how he called her that but I get what he was trying to say
