Blah blah blah, repeat the same thing, subjective, and personal opinions. Im sure from pg 1-10.
I feel nothing from those live performances from a lot of the people yall post about. That includes but not limited to FLOPica, that kim burrel woman, almost all the gospel singers posted here, etc. It gives me nothing.
Its all about who/what you personally can connect to. Its all completely subjective. Eh.
This.
Peoples perception of emotion or lack thereof in a singers voice is clearly tied into their personal feelings and their overall perception of said singer. In this case a lot of people have a perception of Bee as this perfectionist and find everything she does is orchestrated so naturally that's why she could get shot on stage and they'll claim the emotion from her was forced. Rihanna is the free spirit, wildchild from humble island upbringings so she can sound like a billygoat in heat but hey, emotion!

Sidenote, I don't see how anyone could prefer Bee's DC4 or even B'day voice over her present voice. She has way more richness and power in her voice than she did back then and her tone is a lot darker and more mature. I cringe at a lot of her older performances, even though she wasn't bad by any means back then.
