Lazarus

On her new album:

Quote?I?m taking a different approach with this record because I?m not holding myself to the studio like, ?I?m making this album top to bottom.? People don?t really do that anymore. Right now I?m writing and recording and collaborating, and then we?ll see what the best of the best is.

On Why She?s Remaining Mum On Its Concept:

Quote? It?s a secret because then everybody steals the concept. I?m serious, it just happened to me like two months ago. I don?t want to go into it because then I?m gonna be shady.?

I wonder what the original concept was.

Gilgamesh.

There was talk of her doing the visual album thing this time around, so it could be Bey. But they're apparently friendly so maybe not...

I don't think she's talking about Bey IMO She's referring to a sound, not treatment. I honestly think it's Ariana.

Purple Moon

Ariana stole her album concept? She probably only talking about the album cover with the bunny ears.

From what I remembered reading/hearing about 'riah's time in the studio months ago, it was a more electro pop, bass-heavy sound with some of the driving piano ballads she used to perform back in the day.
