NPH is fckn hilarious. I honestly dont even think about "gay" when I see him. and even when he did come out, he had a great sense of humor about it. he was funny af in both of these movies

Sad that if a straight guy plays a gay character, its "wow what an incredible range he has as an actor", and a gay guy playing a straight male is seen as impossible and/or unrealistic straight outta the GATE

It's funny you say this because I was watching Gone Girl a couple weeks ago with someone that had never seen it and when Neil Patrick Harris was bangin the chick, she says "I thought he was gay wtf" .....and I'm like "yeah he's an actor"
