I love FM but those songs could've been written for anyone else
(wouldve sounded like pure shit lol! but)
Afrodisiac was crafted ONLY for Brandy

I agree. Afrodisiac is just amazing to me. lyrically, production wise, the CONNECTION to the songs,etc. The album is just WOO! I feel like Full Moon is actually Rodney's album feat Brandy. The way they UNITED on NSN is iconic and why I think NSN is a better album and their best collaboration

Several songs on Afrodisiac could have gone to other people. Necessary, How I Feel, Say You Will, WIS2U....good songs and she killed them, but alot of people could have done those

 

Only when it comes to the Focus, I Tried, Should I Go, type songs do they seem specifically crafted for Brandy imo

Could've def been left out...

WOW or Die Without You are good but one would've have to go too

Open should've started the album before Full Moon and I Wanna Fall In Love should've been included on all versions of the album as a closer

After The Storm had a lot of blah moments.
She pretty much released "All Eyez On Me" with afew new songs and different album title.
So Gone and Don't Gotta Go Home were cute though.

TBH I prefer ther versions of He Is i've heard through the years. Brandy kept it a little too cute on the album version.

Li's mess is full of filler like all her albums but the singles are nothing short of legendary.

After The Storm is just so cohesive and soulful, it really FLOWS, the esthetics, this epitome of pure contemporary R&B, no gimmicks, no trends, no mess. Clean production, solid lyrics. The album doesn't try hard, it just books silently.

FM had incredible vocal production and arrangement, it's truly alien like. This album can never be recreated. It's not about it being edgy or telling compelling it unique stories, it's just SONICALLY and vocally so impeccable it wins by default.
