That's what a tribute is. I think they don't like hearing the criteria isn't as selective as they like to think

The fact they are naming Normani as a front runner speaks volumes IMO

I named Normani because this is the VMA which is shown on MTV, which is a pop network and award show. Normani is 1/5 of a very popular pop band. She performs down and she fits that particular audience. Had I said BET it'd be more variety.
