She definitely is by winning and SLAYING
But we as black folks know how beautiful we are and the potential we have esthetically speaking . I'm not saying a blond weave or anything like that; but it just doesn't look done completely. Not for someone as rich as her and on a platform like this.

This is where the frustrations are coming from. But I do agree that it should no way NEAR be a critical focus. The girl is snagging medals regardless!

It doesn't need to be done up. It's convenient for what she's doing, neatly pushed out of the way so she can do her gym routine.  It's not really an appropriate time for her to be focused on fashion.  She should be focused on her gym routine. Save that fashion for the Essence cover she'll get once she brings home another gold.
