Her family, for one. What if they didn't use the idea? there are so many reasons artists stay in the closest for a long time and there's often a couple more things at stake than just a career

Um...Mya is closer to her family more then ever before. So I'm sure if she was to "come out" she'd have no problem telling them.

Maybe Mya come off the way she do in interviews or give the responses she gives regarding relationships, monogamy, etc because of her past family drama. Maybe she's ok and content with being alone at this point in her life with everything she has gone through professionally and personally. Do you blame her? In the beginning of her career she went through so much her mother battling breast cancer, her parents divorce, finding out her father cheated on her mother. Her family wasn't even on speaking terms at one point.

NONE of these artists like a bitch that didn't do their simple research beforehand. It has to be infuriating
