I believe she was referring to herself as Jermaine... I didn't quite get that she was comparing herself to Michael, especially since she said EVERYONE knows what happened to Michael (as in EVERYONE knows what happened to Toni) but did you know Jermaine had a career on his own (as in did you know Tamar has a career on her own)

yea, i think that's what he's harping on. The point that she was making was that Jermaine Jackson had a career even tho it's eclipsed by his much more successful and respected brother (toni)
